Hi everyone!

I’m putting together a presentation about BILS to potential users here in Linköping. I think there might be an interest in getting help with NGS data analysis here, so I was wondering if you could help me with some information:

What kind of tools and infrastructure is available within BILS for NSG data analysis? Is there some documentation about this that I can read to get started?

Who are currently working with NSG in BILS?

Thanks in advance!

Best wishes, Malin Larsson

Hi Malin,

What kind of tools and infrastructure is available within BILS for NSG data analysis? Is there some documentation about this that I can read to get started?

As of now, the infrastructure consists of the expertise of the BILS staff and of storage and computational resources that we have through a collaboration with SNIC. For getting access to the resources, please send an inquiry to support@bils.se .

We are also planning to publish some tutorials and best-practices guides on our wiki, but this documentation is unfortunately not yet ready.

Who are currently working with NSG in BILS?

Please have a look at the BILS staff listing. For every staff member, there are some expertise keywords/tags. You are of course most welcome to contact any of the staff members directly.

Best regards,

Mikael

Hi Malin! I think we are currently 8 with NGS competence, at least(and I am one of them)! We are located in Umeå, Uppsala, Stockholm, Linköping, Göteborg and Lund.

I guess you could always point to the BILS web page (www.bils.se) where the competence of the different BILS staff is described.

Is this enough info for now?

Good luck with your presentation!

Hi Dag and Mikael,

Thanks for your help!

It sounds great to have some tutorials and guides on BILS's wiki pages, I look forward to reading them when they are ready.

Best wishes, Malin
